Aligned Strategy Group coaches and trains nonprofits to fundraise using a community-centric approach. They acknowledge the harm that donor-centric fundraising causes and empower their clients to find new ways to raise funds that align with their values.
ASG was founded in the winter of 2022. They found themselves (unsurprisingly) booked up almost immediately. Ready for growth, its founders approached me to design a new brand and website for their already flourishing business.

The Logo
We kept ASG’s primary logo clean and professional while adding funky baseline serifs to give a sense of boldness and approachability. The color palette for ASG is equal parts deep, bright, and versatile enough to be used in many different variations throughout throughout their branded touchpoints. We also worked with ASG on a set of branded powerpoint, worksheet, newsletter, and social media templates that keep the brand looking consistent across all touchpoints.
Happenstance was so amazing to work with! We are a new nonprofit coaching firm and we came to them for branding and website design. We instantly connected with them. They took their time in learning about our work, what we were looking for in a design, and asked really thoughtful questions during the entire process. Squarespace Website Design
The website design for ASG is colorful and funky, leaning into their deep color palette and beautiful branded photography. It was especially important to prioritize type hierarchy throughout their written content to keep it easy to navigate and understand. We finished our website work together by building out their classes on Squarespace’s educational platform and adding workshops for purchase to their online shop.
