Minnesota Center for Book Arts
Minnesota Center for Book Arts (MCBA) ignites creativity and community through the book arts in Minneapolis and beyond.
They came to us with a problem: their 60+ page WordPress site, built over ten years ago, was breaking. It was difficult to update and navigate, barely functional, and did not utilize their new in-house branding. We were happy to help migrate their website to Squarespace and create a beautiful new design for the organization.

Squarespace Website Design
We partnered with MCBA to overhaul their existing navigation and create a Squarespace website with complex functionality for their hundreds of classes and workshops and expansive e-commerce shop. We applied their new brand design carefully to ensure they would have a beautiful, well-designed site that could be used for years to come.
We are so happy with our new website! The look and feel is fresh and inviting, and better showcases our programs and impacts. We’ve received a lot of feedback from our community that our new site is inviting, beautiful, and easier to navigate. Annie and Shelley guided the whole process with clear communication, listening deeply to our sometime complex needs and designing solutions to fit them. Thank you!

Happenstance Design Co. met the moment when we needed a new website in what seemed like an impossibly short timeframe. They were impeccably organized, created a gorgeous and functional website, and were wonderful to work with.
